Who does Essential DVDs use to ship orders?
Essential DVD's will ship all orders via Australia Post's regular shipping system unless other arrangements have been made.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Essential DVDs uses Australia Post's regular postage system which is quoted to take between 4 - 6 working days. There will be a processing period of 1 - 2 days where orders will be pulled, packed, and payments processed. Orders will generally arrive 3 - 8 working days after payment is made.
Are their discounts for bulk buying?
Essential DVD's will offer discounted shipping rates for customers who purchase more than 1 DVD. Further down the page there is a table that shows the discount rates and cost per DVD to ship. The more you buy, the cheaper each DVD is to ship.
Will Registered Post be used?
Orders of 1 or 2 DVDs can be shipped registered post upon the customers request. A charge of $2.75 will be manually added to the shipping costs within 12 hours of customers request. Orders consisting of 3 or more DVDs will be automatically upgraded to Registered Post free of charge(worth $2.75, signature upon delivery required). The most cost effective method of receiving Registered Post is to order 3 or more DVDs, as it is a free service offered by Essential DVDs this way.
What about Express Post?
Express Post can be used if the delivery time of 3 - 8 working days is not sufficient. Upon the customers request an Express Post charge can be added to any order at a cost of $4.50. Express Post orders will require a signature upon delivery, and will also be traceable. Delivery estimates for Express Post is 1 to 3 days from when the customer requests it.

5 DVDs - $9.00 shipping anywhere in AU ($1.80 per DVD, free Registered Post)
6 DVDs - $10.00 shipping anywhere in AU ($1.67 per DVD, free Registered Post)
7 DVDs - $11.00 shipping anywhere in AU ($1.57 per DVD, free Registered Post)
8 DVDs - $12.00 shipping anywhere in AU ($1.50 per DVD, free Registered Post)

What about orders of more than 15 DVDs?
Orders consisting of more than 15 DVDs will need to be manually quoted. The shipping cost will be assessed and emailed to the customer within 12 hours of an order being placed. The shipping costs will generally follow the trend in the above chart (around $1.00 per DVD or less).
Can my order go missing?
Essential DVDs will not take any responsibility for items "lost in the post". Essential DVDs has offered the option for Registered Post on all orders, and is compulsory on orders of 3 or more DVDs. Never in my years of online selling has a Registered Post item gone missing in the post. This said, it is not impossible, and Essential DVDs will do everything possible to trace the order and make amends accordingly.
